CFT: BS x 1, SP x 1, DL x 1

Last CFT: 260/175/425 = 860

This CFT: 290/175/445 = 910

BS: 255, 270, 290
SP: 185(f), 175, 180(f)
DL: 445, 475(f), 465(f)

Ok. Here's a laugh at my expense. So, I grab the 45# barbell and slap on 4 steel 100# weights. Not thinking, I thought I was going to hit 400#. I hit it, my head about explodes, but I nail it and drop it. I think to myself: "Wow, darn that was heavy. I guess the squats wore me out or the extra running, biking or swimming has done my DL's in." So, I slap on two 10# and two 5# weights to go for 430#, but in reality it's 475#. I try to hit it but the barbell isn't budging and my head almost explodes. I think: "Wow, that kind of hurt." So, I drop the two 5# weights to go for 420#, but in reality its 465#. I try to hit it, but nothing. I'm waisted. So, I put the weights away, collect my stuff, and off to the pool I go disappointed in myself. I swim 30 lengths (750 yards) and then begin my drive home. While doing so, I think back to my DL's and how disappointed I was. All of a sudden, it hits me and I realize I actually did 445# on my first attempt, not 400#. Yahoo! I know... what a knucklehead. :-)

Back squat - 165 (PR)
Shoulder Press - 75 (PR)

Couldn't remember what my progression was on each of the lifts (and pic on cell phone is impossible to read) :)

Jen, PRs all around. So much for your weeks-off break hurting you. Looks like you are stronger than ever!
Dymphna, you broke 500! Wow. 255 DL is inspiring. Is that like 2.5 time you body weight? Btw, is that really the progression you did? Jumping up in weight and only 3 to 4 lifts before you max out? I get up 20# below my max, then move up by 5# each lift. That just adds up to a lot of sets of one, and maybe is a little draining. I will try it your way next time.

Kristen, I warm up a bit like for DL I started at 135 for 5, then did 155x1, 165x1 and then jumped into the last 3 for the CFT. If I am feeling strong I will go past the 3 try limits such as I did on the SP today just to see if I could get a PR. I use to make really small jumps on the DL but recently I've found mentally the larger jumps are better (for me anyway) and DL is mostly mental at least for me it is.
